Jacob Christopher "Jake" Lloyd (born March 5, 1989) is an American actor, who gained worldwide fame when he was chosen by George Lucas to play the young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, the first film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Since then, Lloyd has appeared in relatively few acting roles.

Once I was walking through the burbs with wonton and I went to pick this really pretty yellow rose out of someones yard, and it was a really tough stem. I ended up pulling the whole baby rosebush out of the ground. I felt very guilty, but I just walked away.
